A beautiful artificial lawn is only as good as the groundwork beneath it. We excavate properly, install weed membrane, lay compacted aggregate bases, and use professional-grade seaming tapes and adhesives to ensure invisible joins and a perfectly tensioned finish that will not ripple, lift or degrade.

Our process
Excavation & Weed Membrane
We remove the existing turf and topsoil to a depth of 75mm-100mm, then install a heavy-duty geotextile weed membrane to prevent any future growth through the lawn.
Aggregate Base
A primary base of MOT Type 1 is laid and compacted, followed by a layer of Grano dust (6mm to dust). This creates a firm, porous foundation that allows for excellent drainage.
Timber Edging Restraints
We install pressure-treated timber edging around the perimeter to provide a secure point to fix the grass, ensuring the lawn stays perfectly tensioned and flat.
Laying & Seaming
The grass is precision-cut to fit the area. All joins are secured using high-strength professional seaming tape and specialised adhesive for a completely invisible finish.
Kiln-Dried Sand Infill
We finish by brushing in high-grade kiln-dried sand. This adds weight to keep the grass in place and helps the fibers stay upright for a natural, lush appearance year-round.
