Hard Surface Cleaning
Pressure washing and re-sanding for driveways, patios and paths — cleaned at a pressure the surface can take.
About this service
Most of what looks like a worn-out driveway is a dirty one. Algae, moss and years of traffic film flatten the colour out of block paving and stone, and a proper clean usually brings back more than people expect without replacing anything.
The pressure matters as much as the cleaning. Too much on Indian sandstone or older concrete flags picks the surface off and leaves it rougher and quicker to re-soil; too much on block paving strips the jointing sand out and leaves the blocks free to move. We match the method to the surface, and we re-sand block paving afterwards rather than leaving the joints empty.
Where weeds are coming through joints, cleaning alone is temporary. We will tell you honestly whether a clean and re-sand will hold, or whether the jointing needs replacing properly for it to last.

Our process
Assessment
We check what the surface is and what condition it is in, so it is cleaned at a pressure it can take without damage.
Preparation
Loose debris is cleared and any weed growth in joints is dealt with before washing starts.
Washing
The surface is washed evenly, working in sections so there are no banding marks left across the finished area.
Re-Sanding
Block paving is re-sanded with kiln-dried sand and compacted, so the joints are full and the blocks stay locked together.
Clear Down
Silt washed into drains and gullies is cleared, and surrounding areas are rinsed off before we leave.
